Animals have always been a part of my life. In 1987, I graduated from the Wisconsin
School of Professional Pet Grooming.I have owned and operated the Paw Patch since 1995.Wanting to learn more about dog behavior,
I attended the Arizona Caninie Academy in Janurary 2004 and graduated two months later.While I was there I worked with shelter
dogs everyday, interacted with wolves at a sanctuary in New Mexico,worked hands on with clients while teachers closely supervised
us and learned different methods to train dogs.What a great experience.I also absolutely love giving doggie makeovers.It is
fun to see the transformation right before my eyes.And my favorite part is when owners come to pick up their freshly groomed
dogs. We recently became a foster family for the New Beginnigs Shih Tzu Rescue. We take in dogs in need of a safe home until
they can find their forever home.
