Home About Us Grooming Training Lodging
STAY TUNED FOR SCHEDULE Motivational training methods are used in my training programs.I teach people to get the desired behavior; mark the behavior with verbal marker such as "yes" or a clicker; and then to reinforce the behavior with anything that your dog values such as a treat, toy or a good massage, this will get the dog to repeat the desired behavior. What's the difference between traditional training(yank and jerk method) and motivational training? You can acheive a well behaved dog in both cases but in traditional training the dog works to avoid the punishment. Motivational training the dog works because it is fun and works for the rewards. Also the dog is actively involved in the thinking process. There are many ways to train a dog, you have to find out what is the best way for you and your dog.
